About the owner>
Trisha Guido founded Relish in early 2002 in a tiny little 320 sq ft live/work space in Portland, Oregon. After 10+ years in technology sales and marketing, Trisha wanted to start a more creative and personally satisfying venture. One that would allow her to use her background in business marketing and renovating homes from the age of 21, yet make a small difference by helping artists and designers bring their products to market in a sustainable way.



With her continual yearning for travel and culture abroad, the plan was hatched on a napkin in London in 2001 to start a home and personal accessories store featuring organic modern designs from around the world that were mostly unavailable in the US.



Over the years, that mission was accomplished and in 2007, she attended Parsons Design School in New York City to further her knowledge in sustainable and interior design. She launched interior design services to the Relish mix in 2008 after a big move and renovation of an old 1937 automobile warehouse where the Relish showroom currently operates. Since the beginning, she has always helped foster NW artists and designers works and in 2010, almost 40% of the showroom became dedicated to local materials and designers works in development. The 1st Thursday of every month, they sponsor a local artist or designer from 6-8 pm. Come celebrate with us in an effort to make a small difference in the world through modern, organic sustainable design.

It is the zone between individuality and mass production.

It is a carefully curated collection of emerging designers from around the globe that inspire, elevate and touch our senses.

Eight years ago we began Relish with the dream of differentiating ourselves by speaking to the creative customer.

We celebrate vision, new methods and materials, emerging artisits, established designers and the joy of living with creativity in our environment.
